Ooo. Well done indeed. There's a general sentiment that keeps coming up in the mental health and disability communities that there aren't enough of 'us' infiltrating academia and providing a much-needed firsthand perspective; we know better than many researchers what kinds of interventions we might benefit from and what kind of structure is currently lacking in social and medical policy. Moreover, congratulations on getting the interview!
