i have had periods of basically backpacking across the state or region and moving quickly and lightly and sparingly with little more than a groundcloth big enough to make a taco for me and a sleeping bag -All on a motorcycle and alone. Eat lunch at a grocery store and dinner/breakfast is a can or a bag of trailmix, water and? Freedom!
favorite story from a music festival or concert?

Lollapalooza 1994. The Breeders were playing. Someone threw a bottle at them and it hit one of them in the head. So they stopped and left the stage. That was a cool festival. Beastie Boys. Smashing Pumpkins. I felt like I was a part of something. That was the first time I saw some technology that was like Snapchat filters. It was a big screen and you could stand in front of it and move around and a cartoon cat character would be on the screen doing all the stuff you were doing and there was a huge line to do it.

The deep sea angler fish with the parasitic males. One female can have half a dozen embedded into her. I wonder if there are any myths reflecting that lifestyle?

Followed a close second by maggots. For purely practical ones. Great wound cleaners, maggots.

my labs have retreiver training floaties, you spin it by its lanyard and let it fly, about 3-4x as you could throw it and the labs go crazy for it. We had one lab that would jump out of a moving boat if she saw someone throw one on shore!
