I quit smoking about 2 years ago (which I would cheerfully blame this PTSD resurgence on if it weren't the least of what's been going on.... And... I haven't quit nicotine at all. Just switched to nicotine mints instead of cancersticks. Gaspers! I'm reading an Aussie mystery series that calls squares gaspers. Love that slang, even if it's outdated & never used like our 1920s slang. Anyhow...So now I can get mouth cancer instead of lung cancer.).
Never liked the smell of cigarettes until I quit. Now? I get the half closed eyes and happy smile around them the way I used to around cigars.
Especially the chocolaty spicy cubano good ones.
