What Did You Do Today To Relax?

After a furious row on the phone with a member of staff in a call centre earlier today, I went out and started painting the inside of the summer house, as I find painting relaxes me, and it was needing done anyway.

It worked, and after a few minutes, I could even paint round the window edges, as my hands had stopped shaking by then from temper?

Then when I had properly calmed down, as I sat and watched the birds on the bird table again, and that made me feel a lot better, and a lot calmer.

I just read through all seven pages of this thread. Hadn't noticed it before. I'm not quite sure how to answer the question because since I am very symptomatic lately, there's a bit of a switch: if relaxing means whatever we do to get to "calm", then most of what I am doing with my time is relaxing, even though I mostly don't feel relaxed. It's more as if relaxing has become my job. An exhausting job. So all the work I am doing on healing is, ultimately, relaxing... I think??
