What Did You Eat And Drink Last?

Cheered myself up with a couple of blasts from the past. As a kid I was given the best present I ever had, it was a snoopy toy, I worshipped him and it, really, built a very deep enduring relationship with the best present I had ever been given, for the whole 24 hours I had it. It somehow got lost and I was devastated lol.

Not much into plush toys as an adult, though I have hankered after a snoopy on and off through my adult life. Never saw one as nice as the one I had as a kid. But I saw someone had a snoopy mug on a YouTube vid recently and so, I bought me mine, and I love it haha

On the other side it says stay cool. In it is the other blast from the past, a cup of mellow birds coffee like my Nana used to have

Tuna sweetcorn pasta.
Swapped half the pasta for lentil pasta. Then ate around the lentil pasta leaving that shite for the bin.
My Irish Retriever, Samson, that I grew up with? Could eat around a single pea (or medicine from the vet) with PRISTINE ability. There it sat. Alone. In the bowl. Licked clean.

Every once in awhile I manage that, myself. And view it as unadulterated homage.

Some things? Are. Not. Food. And should not attempt to hide/present themselves as such.

....and yet, we used to get garden space one of the farms where my dad had a bee yard. Went to pick peas one day and half the shells in the outside row are empty. Ends up their Chesapeake bay retriever LOVED peas. It would open the pod and clean it out using its eye teeth and a flip of its head.....

Omelette, toast, OJ
