Last night, the hubby went out to eat at a seafood place with family, the place where you get to eat all the things that have been marinating in their own toilet their whole life, so I opted out and had a big bowl of toasted quinoa with some melted vegan buttery spread and crumbled homemade g/f vegan flatbread that was seasoned to taste like holiday dressing, and fordhook limas all stirred up together....damn tasty and quite comforting....then a salad for dessert. lol
Today, I'm once again escaping the toxic scents and servings of the family scene to venture out to some of my favorite small businesses who genuinely help me in my healing journey, and to help a friend craft some items for a helliday bizarre (yep, I meant to spell it that way), so I'll be taking lots of finger foods (fruits and veggies) in the cooler with me and stopping at my favorite cafe' for one of my special salads and some vegan soup.
