All down to the idea of the Film/Series being Steampunk based.

Victorian/Western/Jules Verne world. I loved the series because they were all damn good characters, that had their own quirks. Most other Sci-Fi shows like Star Trek have a lot of commonality within the crew and with other shows which make them one of loads.

Firefly and Serenity are one of a kind.

Too bad the show was cancelled...:(

I dragged myself to the gym today, been days since I last went (Got sick and been super depressed, and unmotivated.) I get to the gym, put in my headphones so no one talks to me. Which is pretty normal. I was doing forearm exercises and a trainer comes up and asks what I'm doing. I tell him and he shows me a workout he learned from some SWAT guys to increase forearm strength for grabbing people. So random, but made me appreciate people for once.

Some days are just hard. You don't see anything that's good about it. Then something comes along to remind you that just being alive can be a good thing. It's a lot easier to see the bad than the good.

Here the clouds are low and thick, snowing, dark, hardly gotten light all day. No light in the tunnel :(

Security guard Du Jinqian took advantage of heavy snow in Hangzhou, eastern China, to show off his sculpting skills.

He took a break from his duties to build rows and rows of snow birds and a snow duck along the steps of the bank.

I got a small smile today. I had one armed bandit fever seize control of me and I raised an arm to Jimmy's plight of surgery. Yeah that's right and I said it. Making fun of Jimmy made me smile a little. Major arm waving goes out to Jimmy for his single handed approach to issues at hand. :)

Got up today, looked outside and saw the biggest red-tail hawk I've ever seen. Awe inspiring. Just made me feel good, got some good skype contacts as well that put a smile on this old face. I'd better tone it down a bit, though, gotta' go to the VA. If they see me too happy I might get locked away as they'll think something is wrong. :ROFLMAO:
