Past. I know I can breathe in that far in the past, based on the record. There are a few places on the planet I can’t breathe, even in the present. Also, it would be super fun visiting the civilisations we know so little about, but what we do know? Is fascinating.

Ancient Rome. Far more fun, as it was arguably the most diverse empire… ever. Absorbing whole cultures, rather than melting them. Plus? Pax Romana? Mad travel opportunity. Egypt was too corporate structure.
