Why Did You Choose That Username And/Or That Avatar (Or No Avatar At All)?

Mine is from the Neil Gaiman Sandman series. It's an image of Dream's sister, Death. Sounds morbid but that's not why I love it. The character is kind, curious, level headed and fun- she's the one dream turns to for advice and she always says the right thing. She's who I'd like to be (apart from not being human of course:D).

Allie Brosh is the writer of the comical blog: Hyperbole and a Half. My Avatar is actually one of the pictures she 'drew' of herself in the post This is Why I Will Never Be an Adult. It seemed fitting to me. Also: Allie suffers from depression which she has written about. It touched a nerve- actually several of them.

Mine, is a memo I had to attach to a piece of equipment yesterday at my place of work, after having answered the same question six times in the first 20 minutes of my shift (twice to the same person:rolleyes:). Regarding why and how a 1000lb lead acid battery smells like sulphur, after two years of overuse and lack of maintenance.

That and I always love having a chance to be a smartass. I made it my avatar simply because I was tired of the last one.

Mine is not knowing what on earth to put there, & how I think: if I'm not traveling somewhere or moving somewhere, I'm thinking of doing it or planning it. Also because it's that or something vaguely explosive (to remind myself to Keep Calm) and well, other forum I was on told me to gtfo with that boomy crap. xD
