Hi @SeekingAfrica I hear you loud and clear! I highly doubt there would be very many here on the forum who can't relate in one way or another. I'm in the same camp as @Lola Nocheprieta .
I'm in a downward spiral right now. It's very hard, emotionally draining and at the moment feels like there's no way out. As has been said, I do have a couple of support people - my therapist being 1 of 2. My boat feels like it's sinking and sinking fast.. however, it FEELS like it's sinking. It's not. I know that in my head, but my emotions, my heart are very argumentative.
I agree that you need to perhaps slow down in your expectations of yourself. You have a strong will to heal. That's huge! You've also shown a strong desire to seek help and reach out. Both fantastic. You're going to make it - but you're right it's a very rough road and often makes you feel freeze over. The only way is to keep on keeping on. Be gentle with yourself. Use the tools available - which your therapist can help to teach you or websites available... even here on the forum, there are threads designed to teach us what we need.
