How do you get in to the Neuroplasticity??
I think you'll have to research that yourself, as I'm not versatile in what you have available near you. I know CBT is based on the idea, and IFS as well, DBT, ... some models are... I'm just not knowledgeble enough to tell you all of them.

Hey, Emily, it looks like you're getting lots of good responses. I know were also looking ideas to replace fast-food while working, so let's start a list of easy, nutritious snacks that you can carry with you through the day. I have to say, though, I wouldn't be as concerned about the calorie count as I would be about nutrition. Actually, I wouldn't care about the calorie count at all. I have no idea how many calories I consume in a day, but I suspect it's a lot.

Oh, and I'm doing DBT to build neural pathways that never developed. A friend who's a neuroscientist promises me it will work. :)

I know you're a fussy eater (me, too), but something here might look good to you.

Raw veggies - carrots, broccoli (might be hard on the stomach, though), pea pods, jicama (my favourite), cukes
Fruits - grapes, orange slices (I drizzle mine with a tiny bit of lemon juice and agave - yum), apples, melon cubes

Almonds, sunflower and/or pumpkin seeds, walnuts, pecans, dried fruits

Homemade oatmeal muffins, quinoa patties (seasoned any way you like), granola, meat and cheese roll-ups, yogurt or cottage cheese

I'm running out of ideas..

I hope something here works for you!
