Remember rain... The grandkids have been brought up by their mother who has bpd. The one that does not speak to.. Will in the future.. There is always hope. No, haven’t had my art here but I have had some peices displayed a long time ago at an art exhibit and have played piano in concert as well as other instruments :) grandmas encouragement helped a ton.

Thank you so much @Xena this only started last year right after Christmas. I do not know if my daughter will ever hit bottom and try to get some good help for her issues or not. I pray and hope but I think I had such a good tight bond with the kids and I am reaching out anyway to the oldest because she is now an adult. I have to leave the little one alone because my daughter is her guardian and can come after me legally.

I have new hope now and no worries about being disrespectful to my daughter I totally understand how that has gone down over the years. But the reason I have such a difficult time is that two years ago we were so close until she really starting drinking heavily. She even sent me seven videos of her cutting her arm at two in the morning one time. I called the police on her to do a home health check on her to make sure that my daughter was okay and she was really drunk that time.

I guess it is a matter of the kids surviving her like the rest of us.

Yes, grandma (we called her Nana) encouraged me a lot too with my art. I'm not up on all the latest with digital stuff. My first digital camera was bought by my dad for me in 1999, if I recall. It was the best. It took .jpg's and it put them onto a computer disk, so all one had to do was transfer the disk to the computer, and one could play with some art software and the photos would come out looking like reality, it was so awesome.

These days the cameras make you have software to operate them with your computer and you have to learn it and it is hard! I could not figure out how to get photos from my last camera onto my computer, let alone share them here! It was frustrating!
