Beautiful balmy Spring evening yesterday, 73 degrees, sat on the porch and just enjoyed the evening. Got up this morning... 42 degrees.
Gotta love Texas weather... if you don't like it at the moment, wait awhile, it will change.

Yesterday, I was able to wear a tank top out in the sun. Today, I'm wearing a whole load of laundry as I watch the snow/sleet/rain. Never a dull moment while looking up as of late, it seems.

The temperature shook itself like a dog, and dropped back to normal levels.

Still humid, wet, & windy, but no longer thick and close.

White skies & green trees.

I think the term for it, today? Is bracing.

Usually reserve that for salt spray across the deck, but the freshwater snapping in the gusts is coming close enough. Stiffens the spine, if naught else.

Having been away from home for a week, it feels like I left mid-February and came back in June.

Warm and inviting, and it's trying really hard to be sunny. Temps are supposed to reach mid 70s. Tomorrow is supposed to reach the 80s.

FINALLY winter has loosened its grips and we actually have a mild Spring day on tap with temps in the mid 50's with a mix of rain, cloud and sun!!

Well went to the Hardware Store for supplies and updated my "96 Hour" Emergency Kit.

Calling for rain, snow, sleet and freezing rain with windS over 90km/h (50mph), wide spread power outages. Storm is supposed to last until Sunday night with freezing rain accumulation in my area exceeding an inch.

Going to be NASTY.
