I didn't know there were mods for Stardew Valley! Are they on Steam or Nexus?
They're on Nexus! They're also on the Stardew Valley official forums. I got the Walk-to Desert one working off of the SDV forums.
I got Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village,/Soundtrack Immersive Shane, Immersive Elliott, Improved Marnie, Canon Dialogue Expansions, Improved Sprinklers, and you can Google for "best mod lists" and check the dependencies and compatibilities. (The rest of my mods are just framework mods to make those ones work.) You also absolutely need SMAPI before anything else (Stardew Modding API).
So far all of my mods seem to be working together. I did try to get East Scarp, but that doesn't seem to have loaded in any way.
SDE/RS/ES are all expansion/immersion mods that greatly expand the map, add new NPCs and new quests and new items and stuff. I also got Automate which lets you run machines in the background so you aren't constantly running back and forth. Helpful to make my coffee with 10,000 coffee beans!
I am the kind of guy that if I like a game I'll buy it on every console so now I have 3 copies of SDV lmao. It was
deffo worth it on PC though. The mods make it fun as f*ck and I feel better about cheating because I had just finished the vanilla game on Switch. Finding games that don't trigger me and that don't have violent content and that I
enjoy playing is definitely a "victory" for me.
