Political Venting

Okay. How do you explain the direct quotes from trump himself?

This comes across incredibly racist. I know many folks from Canada and USA that have moved abroad for work, n that is viewed differently but im unsure why.
Case and point. Deny this is happening because your friends said so and call me racist all you want. I have people I love in Canada and theyh are being annihilated. I will have none of it and your country shouldn't either. Takes very few years to destroy a nation. .

Sounds like a good thing to me.
Can you show me why it is a good thing or is this just feelings.
How does people from India working in Canada destroy a nation?
I mentioned this already. People who have been in Canada for generations and have worked their whole lives there are freezing to death on the streets because the 'new people' are taking all their jobs. Our teenagers can't get work. Not sure how you can back up your claim that 'that sounds good to me'. Seems very flippant when the issue is literally causing slow and painful deaths.

Its a good thing because its people having jobs. I do not differentiate based on where people come from. A person with a job is a good thing to me. Not because of media or my friends but because I believe that. Where you are born is luck of the draw and everyone has the right to make the most of any opportunity they can, including, but not limited to, making a living in a country that they weren't born in.

I dont see why a Canadian born person dying from no job is worse than an Indian born person dying from no job. A person is a person. Ideally nobody would die obviously. But assuming what you say is true, if that Canadian born person got the job then someone else would die in their place. I dont see the difference.

What???

The Canadians don't have jobs because the Indians have taken them all. Canadians are rotting in shelters and freezing on the streets because the givernment is giving the immigrants businesses. Because the Indians now own the businesses, they only hire Indians and therefore Canadians hae an unbelievably small market. Certainly not enough to sustain them.

Why would you encourage a country to bring people into the country when it can't support its own population? Did you actually look at the graph that I provided?

Yes I looked. I just dont understand why you think I have to care about the information in it? Like.. again. A person is a person. I do not care where they were born. So I dont care if Canadians dont have jobs (or that Scottish people dont have jobs as I am in scotland) as long as someone is doing the jobs. Where those people were born means absolutely nothing to me.

Well, it matters when they are being displaced into a population that is dying because there are too many brought in don't you think?

Can you show me data that backs up your theory that massive amounts of migration (that causes displacement of the host population) works out well for the host country?

Should countries not be looking at the population they can sustain?

What happens economically to the country if it is over populated through migration?

@Chris-duck , I don't have anything against you at all, and I am not attacking you. But in a debate thread I do expect more than rainbows and unicorn farts in response to real concerns that are heavily impacting countries around the world. I understand Europe in parts is having the same problem, but don't have lived experience there. Canada I am seeing what is happening to my country.
Where those people were born means absolutely nothing to me.
Do you have a job? Have you ever been homeless?

No because again. It does not matter to me. Its not rainbows and unicorn farts. I just know I also dont care about the uk. Like id leave the uk in an absolute heartbeat. And I think other folks in arguably worse scenarios should have the same right. I think its quite close minded to see it differently. Stats sadly dont exist for how humanity should work
Do you have a job? Have you ever been homeless?
Yes I have a job. Im a nurse. And yes ive been homeless for two years in my early 20s. Have you? Because I assume you asked assuming my answer would be no.
