Finally Talked To The Police

Thank you all so much for your encouragement and support. It means so much to me. These past days I have been completely focused on getting through the interview and what I should do next. You all are the first people to tell me I did good and that you're proud of me. It's making me a little emotional. The good kind of emotional.

As everyone's said, that's very courageous.
Not only might you obtain justice for yourself, you're protecting others.
If whoever did this goes behind bars, in a prison or whatever, it makes for one less person who could harm someone.
You may also inspire others, for overcoming your fear and reporting the offender.
Most of all, you'll find the reward in yourself.

@Tj's Paradigm Shift you are so right about the impact being believed can have. The police condemning what he did to me makes me feel like I did the right thing.


A small update: I have decided not to file an official police report, so the matter will not be investigated. I am okay with that, because just standing up for myself and not being blamed by authorities for what happened already means a lot to me.
Also, I want to move forward with my life. With that I refuse to give the bastard another chance to hurt or humiliate me. Enough is enough.
