This spring 2014 college term was great. I got all A's in my classes. I got 100% in history. A 95% in English 2 and a 93% in my pop culture Literature class. I had actually got 100% on my history final and a 97% in my English 2 final and the class average was 65.5%.
Pretty proud of myself. :D I really didn't think I could pull this off. I really didn't think I was smart enough. When I kept getting better grades and better grades I just thought maybe the class was just super easy.
I also got a mentor. He is one of my teachers and I was brave enough to ask him to be my mentor after class one day. I am really happy with my choice and shocked that I had the nerve to ask him. I am so happy that he agreed, I think we can work well together.
We are also moving closer to work and college. Since it's only 18 miles down the road that may not sound like much but it's scary to me. I grew up in the country and I have never lived so close to such a big city before. I am still scared and worried about it. It was a big step to agree with my husband and realize it needs to be done.
I feel like I accomplished a lot in the last few months. I am also taking care of myself better these days. I feel better about being female and I am more comfortable with myself and my sexuality.
