I think in not really knowing this man, it is best not to speculate. Stick to the facts and strengthen your boundaries with him.

I can certainly understand your uneasyness with him making such inroads into your private life. I would be feeling uneasy as well.

I think your gut instincts are seeing the red flags in this man and I think it is so good you reached out here for support.

If he proves to be a man that is pursuing you and refusing to take no for an answer I would report him to a pastor or whoever is in charge of situations like this.:hug:

Well, he did not show up at the Senior Center yesterday, so I have had a day to calm down and not get too rattled. I'm feeling more capable of handling this now, so if he shows up today, I can probably express my viewpoint upon what my wishes are in some way. I think that saying something to the tune of, "I like my life the way it is, I like being single and taking care of myself and living where I live." I think that sh9uould take care of it. I hope it will anyway!

I also like to look at it, that it was good he didn't show up. It sounds to me as if he isn't actively pursuing you by not showing up on the day you told him you were going to be there.
I am glad this has gotten you to calm down and build up the strength to be able to talk it out with him if he does show up. What you plan to say sounds very affirmative of your goals :) x

I made a point of telling him that I never plan to marry again. He said, something like, "Is it too hard to break another one in?" And I said something like, "Yeh, something like that." So now he at least knows that. Which was a huge relief.
