Anyone Ever Take Lorazepam?

I agree with the above. I take 1.5 mg (I think) or 1.5 pills of Lorazapam daily and have for a while. I have found I feel better on it, but it doesn't get rid of my anxiety. It makes me feel more hopeful and happy (mood) overall.

So it helps with my depression and feeling physically sick from my PTSD. When I take it, my body feels less a trap and my mind more able to find a happy place and get out of the ruts of negativity.

It also has helped my other chronic stress pain in my digestive system. However, I feel naseated and hot if I miss a dose, so I know that I don't like being addicted to it. I'd rather just lose the beneficial effects. Instead, I feel worse than before I took it if I miss a dose. So physical addiction is an issue. No different for me than when I took Effexor, though, and it made me feel worse on the drug and coming off the drug; so at least this one helps while I'm on it.

I have had a less sharp memory at times, but not so much that it seems to make any difference. And this side effect seems worth it to me if you knew how much pain and suffering I was in without it.

So I am actually grateful for it. It's the first drug to help with my PTSD. If my PTSD went into remission, I'd consider getting off it slowly and replacing it with other things like meditation and such.
