My older brother sexually abused me. He started when parents divorced. I was eight. Ended when he left home for college. I was 14. Been on meds, and am going to therapy regularly. I feel pretty good about myself right now, but there are some hard times still. I think it will be great to be part of a forum.

I'm thankful I found this forum too. And thank you for the welcome. :-) It feels good to be accepted and welcomed. I met with my therapist today, and I told her I joined a forum, and she smiled and said she thinks it's awesome.

Thanks for sharing, I have c-ptsd and am new to the forum also. Not sure what to expect but I was searching for more resources and to be able to connect to others ect. :)
I am sorry to hear about your brother. I feel I can completely relate to that, my brother did the same thing to me. So it sounds like we might be in the right place. :D Good luck
