Just curious.

My boyfriend suggested I take on a full load of classes and full load of work in the spring semester next year, to get the maximum benefit. He knows I have ptsd, but I don't think he realizes... that perhaps I can't do it. Feeling kinda hopeless.

Is it possible? Has anyone here done it?

One of my semesters I took a full load of classes at the Masters program level along with working on campus 20 hours a week and off campus with an almost hour commute 30 hours a week.

It's doable. The problem is it's taken me about three years to recover from that and I'm not currently working in the traditional workforce or attending classes. Consider really carefully what your limits are and I'd advise increasing your responsibilities gently rather than an all-in mentality. If you decided to take on a lot, I'd suggest discussing in detail what sort of support you're going to need/expect from the people in your life in order to get you through it and make sure they are committed to coming through for you.

Possible? Yep.
Possible on demand? Snort. No way.

If it's something you can do; take a full load of classes & work full time, awesome. If not? Then it's not.

To know, as well: completely neurotypical, full functional people? Some would kick ass under that schedule, others would completely fall apart. A helluva lot of people don't work in school, period. They take time off to work & grant write, etc... Because their studies need all of their time & energy. Others only take classes intermittanly, because their work uses up most of their time and energy. There's no one-size-fits-all in terms of employment and education... Whether a person has PTSD, or not.
