Seeing as it’s New Year’s Eve… fireworks, drunken horde’s… lots of “fun” and very loud noises

Just got home from work. The rain for what ever reason makes me hyper. Storm and all just makes me relaxedand feels like I can take on the world. The feeling when it is raining and after just brings something different to me. Can't believe it it's almost 2023 time flies. I will see what God has in store for me coming up.

I am awaiting a new smartphone and a new tablet to arrive. I got the tablet for a co-pay of $10.01 and the 70-dollar smartphone for about 30 bucks. I have my sim card kit but have run into a few tech snags. I hope to get these straightened out by end of the day.

I had a tough day yesterday as it was my sister's heavenly birthday. She died 4 years ago. I love her eternally and will miss her till the sweet day that I see her again. I still consider her to be one of the greatest blessings of my lifetime.

Healing during the holidays is sometimes very difficult and my heart goes out to all who experienced hardship and difficulties through the holiday season.

Thats what I was guessing, but its a thread, and not the traditional chat room style. Has that gone completely?

Unfortunately it has. It was gone when i got here but I hear about it and see requests for its return regularly.

As @Freddyt said - there's no longer a chat function on the site. The amount of monitoring it required - members using it inappropriately, sometimes with real-life consequences - was too much for a volunteer staff to handle. But, I appreciate that it's missed; there were some members who always used it appropriately. Sadly, they were the minority.
