My physical health is affecting my mood so badly today. I've fallen in a heap and I just feel so low and sad. About to watch a movie or something and hope that distracts me enough to snap out of it. Too tired to concentrate on anything else much.

My job has been crazy lately. My client lives with four generations of her family. This includes a screaming baby, a teenage grandson, her own daughter whom she does not get along well with and then herself. To top that off, she's got Alzheimer's. Working there is like being in a disaster area sometimes. So I come here for a little sanity sometimes.
Sounds like my folks’ place, minus the Alzheimer’s.

GG 90s
Gs 70s
P1 & P2 30s/40s (same generation parents, but had kids 20 years apart)
Teens
Infants/Toddlers

We’d do great on a ranch, but “let’s sit somewhere” suburbia is craaaaaazy making.

What season is it where everyone is? It is towards the end of Spring in Australia and the weather is just becoming so beautiful and sunny. I think the weather can influence my mood. Even though I've been physically sit, it's nice to just sit outside on the deck in the sun.
The same season it always is, Pinky... 🐭 🐁

...Cold, wet, & raining.

Life in a temperate rainforest. 10C and wet, filthy almost year round. A week or so of 0C & a few weeks of 20C to break up the monotony. Wind off the glacier in “winter” & wind off the northern (arctic) current in “summer”. Icy & dry winds driving the rain at you, or salty and wet winds driving the rain at you. 15 minute survival time in the sea year round. Completely overcast over 325 days a year.

This near eternal blend of fall+spring, known locally as F’ing. Pronounced Effing. Effing weather, out. Yep. Sure is. Effing weather, indeed.

“Locally” might just be my house. <broad wink> I’m not a native of the region, and fair despise the F’ing weather round here.

I’m much more cheerful when I have control over the thermostat, and spend 6mo a year above the rain line in the mountains. In the past 2 years? Neither has been true, and I’ve spent a total of 11 days, warm & dry. Scotch helps. Sadly, I have neither the budget nor desire, to spend 10 months a year drunk.

That's not a good time. When i feel like a shit ball, I find a good hypnosis on YouTube to zone out on. That way I feel productive, and sometimes I have energy enough to turn on weight loss, or healthy living hypnosis. Shooot, and when it gets really good, I'm searching the most recent motivational videos.
I go to sleep with bible verses for healing on YouTube on the bad days.
