Woke up to rain. To the west and north of us, they have a lot of snow. The rain is melting the snow we now have, but it is suppose to get colder and snow big time. I hate when ice forms under the snow. Makes for dangerous situations.

Rain again. Flood alerts in various areas, so I'm quite happy that my town is on top of a hill! :p

Started off at 9 degrees. Now, at 5:00pm it is all the way up to 36 degrees. Woo hoo. Warm enough to snow now that night's coming. sigh.

Same here, although the downside of living on a hill is that if we have sudden heavy rain, the drains can't cope and the water comes through the house.

Although it is raining most days, it has been steadily heavy so the drains have coped but the ground is so saturated and standing water is everywhere.

At the bottom of the gorge, they are putting up the flood defences in Ironbridge.

Yesterday we had tornado warnings, and today it was snowing about an hour ago, now it is sunny! That was the first snop of the year here, though up the the mountains above us it has been snowing a lot for at least a month. The snow that was sticking to the ground today has all already melted. Strange. What will be happening here an hour from now I have no clue! It still appears to be snowing up in the mountains though. I live in Andrews, NC.
