Well, the weather forecast said it was going to rain and it has! Hasn't stopped my hay fever though.

H told me he was taking the car so he didn't get wet on his bike. I'm kinda laughing now because he took his bike and didn't tell me he'd left me the car and I've only just realised it's in the drive!! He could get wet on the way home, but then I could have been out somewhere. I guess he should have told me and I should have looked! :rolleyes:

Still no rain, and grass is brown. Some tree leaves are turning brown. Headed to 100 F on Friday. :( But, the weather was phenomenal today! Sweatshirt weather, in the morning. Very nice. :tup::D

WTF is going on with the weather.

We have had the most torrential rain with 1.5 inch hailstones, thunder and lightning. Over an inch of rain fell in an hour, flash floods and a man in a nearby town was swept away in a stream and drowned. England does not have storms like that - or it never used to.

Luckily for once, we didn't flood, just mud outside where it washed down the drive.

Then 5 hours later we had clear skies and I was sat outside with a coffee.

Totally crazy weather.

It is so hot we have the air conditioner on. Looks like it will be this way the rest of the week.

OMG, looking at what happened in other parts of the UK, we got off lightly. June is set to be the wettest on records ( since 1900). Forecasters have said, yesterdays storms were the most extreme England could expect in Summer.

Maybe the Mayans in the movie 2012 had it right.

Does anyone have a spare Ark?

It is cooling off today, it will be in the 90's. Another day for the air conditioner. It is getting hotter and hotter slowly. Better than the dreary cold. I hate the winter time. Bah Humbug:cautious:

We are having the hottest weather since the 1930's. There have been weeks of no rain and fortunately we did have some rain over the weekend. But we also had really powerful thunderstorms. This was my horse shed. It was anchored and it is amazing what strait line winds can do at +90.

That's frightening (((Deb))), poor Luke. Weather's been crazy here too, either heat wave or rain with thunder storms, warnings / risk of tornadoes ... yes here too ... this seems to be more frequent in the past few years !
