Oh well, the rain stopped for about an hour. It is now persisting down again.

The long range forecast says we might have a better week sometime in August :eek:, he didn't say which year though:roflmao:.

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!

The rain has stopped. The sun is out the sky is blue with just a few fluffy clouds and it is warm.

Sod the housework, I'm off to sit in the garden :D.

There is a strange bright glow in the sky, that is making everything bright and hot!!

The wet stuff that has been falling from the sky for weeks now seems to have stopped (for today at least).

I'm not entirely sure I understand what is going on, although some people have mentioned summer?!! :roflmao: Also people seem much happier today :D

I would love some of the wet stuff to fall from the sky. Please send some over the States. :) It is going to be 100+ for at least two more days and than back to our usual high 80's. :oops:

Oh well, today was a one off. There is a severe rain warning in place for tomorrow. An amber warning, only a red warning is worse. It will be time to batten down the hatches and hope we don't flood.

It's flippin' hot. Like 105F hot. And my AC might not be working right.

Hey KP I hope you are OK where you are. We seldom get floods as the Mersey is tidal but it has been known to flood from time to time. It just hasn't stopped here and it feels so muggy.

Luckily, we didn't flood. The drains have coped with all of the water.

Today we have had heavy showers although it has been dry for about an hour now.

We had brilliant sunshine all day, that was until my washer finished, then it poured it down.

We now have sun again, but not going to risk it now.
