Drinking hot espresso in freezing fog is surprisingly delightful. As the steam from the coffee freezes and settles, every sip is breaking the ice for the hot life beneath.

I’ve never been relaxed in freezing fog, before. Always in transport with engines failing, or holding my breath to run and not lacerate my lungs with ice shards. This is a damn fine new memory to deal next to old cards.

Winds aren’t that bad, about 30mph, but what they’re driving sure is sharp and wet.
