Myself and my two daughters were coming back from a wonderful day out in our seaside city, close by, yesterday and were caught in a sunshower in which we drove home through and followed by a stunning double rainbow.
It didn’t rise up, drift in, settle down, blow through. I thought I might have zoned out, but no. After I was done blinking in surprise, I turned to the person next to me, who wasn’t done blinking in surprise. There’s probably a scientific name for it, along the lines of ‘saturation point’ or some such. Because giving an alarming thing a boring name? Has a long history with making scientists sleep better at night.
Fire danger is peaking out.
Wild, cruel hot winds drying out every single blade of grass. Summer has finally arrived.
A few small blazes here and there but crews are onto them.
Another dry lightening storm yesterday & o/night to make it even more dangerous. Can feel/sense the electricity in the air.
