It's cool and bit windy weather. Peaceful. I love this kind of weather.

Isaac's tracking models are shifting west more which bodes well for the FL mainland. Here in the panhandle, I'm still in the zone though. That may continue to change in the next couple of days.... Landfall somewhere on the Gulf Coast is expected at 2 a.m. Wednesday. Projections are for a Cat 2 landfall. Read this morning that the bases are scrambling their planes (relocating them) ahead of the storm... so for us locals, that is something to sit up and pay attention to.

I have had a really nice day. Thank you weather for being kind and being nice enough for me to go for a nice picnic with the youngest child.

I have just watched the news and I hope my friends stateside are safe from Issac. Thinking of you.

Breezy and light rain. Ready for a big rain event... our county issued mandatory evacuations of low lying areas this afternoon, but I'm not affected. Just hoping I don't lose power and have to camp for 1-5 days.

Alby you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Hang in there and do not give up. If they tell you to evacuate I hope you will do so. I have had to evacuate many times due to fires around us. I an with you in spirit, I hope you have all of the supplies you need. If all else fails and you do have to evacuate Hotel 6 takes animals too. Just be ready, Thanks for keeping us informed. Big hugs.

No worries Giz, we've rode out some Cat 3's here, and one (Erin or Opal) was a 4 but made landfall at a 3. The cool thing about taking care of the Y pools, is that the nearest one is on the "hospital grid" and is a very sound building not too far from my house. A perk of working there... If I needed to I could go there and as long as my pets are crated, wait it out and be one of the first ones to get power back on in our town. Haven't had to do that yet, but it's an opton that's a comfort if need be.

We are having alternate days of rain and sun here.

Yesrterday was wet, today is sunny, tomorrow is forcast to be wet, Thursday a bit of both, then getting better towards the weekend.
