Sammy I love summer storms too. It looks like ours is about over. My dog finally got over her fear and jumped down on the floor. She is still looking out the window.

It's been raining and it's cloudy and overcast. I miss the sunshine :( and have noticed it really affects my mood. There is a slight chance of more rain but no storms are forecast so I'll just have to be content with that till the sun comes out again...once it does I will be happier. :)

Kids back in school.

Went to the store yesterday and found Halloween candy out and learned from a salesclerk that they had already received stuff for Christmas to put out. What?!

It is hot and cooler. We have the fan on and the back door open. It is very comfortable here. Yeah!!

The calm before the storm... literally. Beautiful day and sunny skies, and keeping one eye on the computer models for the track for tropical storm Isaac. Looks like we're either gonna get the front half or be a bulls eye.

If it's a 3 or less, we'll be fine as long as there isn't very much tornado activity. But will do, thanks... If it hits, I have to be on the road and shut down three facilities because my husband has to stay with his company's buildings. So I'll be riding this one out solo but my neighbor will be home next door, he can help me with our generator if I need it and have problems.
