Three times I took my dog out. I had to get bundled, he had to get bundled. Ever try putting those balloon like booties on a dog? The ice and rock salt are very painful for his paws. and the sweater for 30 seconds of the fastest expelling I've ever seen and he wants back in hahahaha

I have a little heater by his bed since he likes it much warmer then I do.

My hot water pipe is frozen in the kitchen. What? Do I live in the Antarctic now?

Got into the double digits yesterday and the sun popped out. Still colder than parts of Alaska though. :eek:

Frigid, windy, and dangerously unpleasant. Feeling heartbreak for folks/animals who are left helpless and desperate and dead in the heart of these crazy ass weather patterns as of late. Perhaps one day the ability to craft and engineer specific weather conditions will be used for the good, instead, like to help end droughts and such. Fingers crossed.

3 degrees, wind chills -22 below. It’s f*cking cold, I’m staying in the house, in bed, and don’t plan on leaving till Monday!!!!!!

I’m lucky to be working from home. I live in a small one floor (w/attic) stand alone cottage. I love the privacy. In this weather I have a heater running in the laundry room (no heat in there) and I keep the cold water dripping. The dripping is annoying but my hearing not being what it once was, not too bad. Besides, it’s better than frozen pipes. The temps are supposed to really drop this weekend so it’s just a wait and see situation now.
