Current Weather

[Muttly]

Supposed to get to be 90F today. Blah. Not too ho right now, but it's morning. The air quality is bad though. I know it's much worse in other places. So, can't open windows. Can't walk the dog. I might be a bit grumpy about it.

It's sort of beautiful out though in a shrouded in way. It's almost like the world outside has this reddish glow.

 

[Tornadic Thoughts]

Chemically cloudy and overcast, although early morning was clear and bright, temps in the mid 80s, so far, with very little to no chance of sunshine, thanks to the "solar radiation management" chem-haze. Eyes burning and tears rolling once that got going. A good day for indoor chores now, it seems.

It’s post-apocalyptic paranoid outside.

Smokes been in the air, too thick, for too long.

Near empty streets, the few stragglers in makeshift masks. Night dark skies at noon. Summer warm, but winter grey and white and more grey, with fog that isn’t. Ashy grit. Schools closed. Stores locking up early. Security grates pulled tight.

It gets under your skin, this weather does.

Cloudy with bursts of sunshine, cold with a tickle of Winter wind. A lovely day for hanging out the washing or gardening and trying to think about something other than the drought.

Friday has my moodweather and I have beautiful sunny without wind with people being smily and civil and drivers being jerks for the laughs of it.

Sunny, breezy, and partly cloudy. May the sun be allowed to hang around for a while today.

We have shadows! Yay! Because that means the air has cleared up enough for the sun to cast them.

Also? I can see across the street.

Cool and grey in north Vancouver Island, hopefully it'll rain here and bring some of the smoke from the fires out of the air, it's been smokey and hot and disgusting latley, even though it's gonna start raining for the 6 or 7 months anytime now, it'd be a nice change,

A cool autumn-like morning that's leading into a beautifully clear blue sky with lots of sun and warming up to the mid 70s. Perfection, in my eyes.

Still living in a chimney... but the wind is cold and the smoke haze is blue.

Hazy and indistinct, but can see across the lake now, too. The passing jets are still just noise, but the sea planes coming in across the water have visual confirmation.
