Tonight and all day tomorrow. 2 feet of snow with 3 feet in some areas. Astronomically high tides, high winds, blowing and drifting snow.

Warm for the time of year at 10degrees, but the 70mph winds are a bit bracing. I don't think my neighbours fence is going to survive this storm

These don’t do it justice. We are fine for now and warm. These are supposed to be the worst hours, but I think the wind died down a little . As long as we have power.

We are snowed in. I haven’t often felt like that we had 4wd vehicles for most of the time we’ve been married . Right now though our Honda Oddessy is going nowhere. The road out front in not plowed. The drift is at least 2 feet deep.

It is currently 8 a.m. 36F and raining. We're gonna have a "snow bomb" (the sh!t they come up with!?!) today. 5 to 8 inches expected for our area. Places North and West of us are expecting more.

Should be fun driving home from work.

The Alberta Express? It's been snowing and blowing and cold for a few days now. Monday we had nearly -25 C of wind chill alone.

The Jet Stream is in the right spot to suck the Arctic cold down the east side of the Rockies and shove it out across the Dakotas and east toward the Great Lakes.

Warm and raining..... Some weird trick of the weather..... A low pressure system on top of us and a big high pressure system in Idaho means, the high pressure sucks the warm north and the low picks it up and carries it north.

Highs this week 30-48 F with lows (-1 to 9 C) with night time temps around freezing. With all the snow we have it sure makes a mess.

foggy. Very foggy. I live in the heart of a valley near a river and some days all you have to do is go drive up a hill and it is blue sky. Down here, you can't see the end of my driveway. but there is the hope for a sunny afternoon in the 50's!
