It was 17 F when I took my daughter out front to the bus . First really cold morning this year. No snow yet . Wind chill right now is 10 F. It’s clear and the sun is out, first time in about a week.

A nothing . Mostly rain . It is supposed to freeze later, so we could get some more snow. They closed everything yesterday for the “storm.” It’ll be heavy to push around with the shovel. Gotta go easy. : ).

I finished shovelling it was a something. 6” wet snow. Tapering off now.

Still -17 F (-27 C) and snowing. -20 F (-29 C) tonight and tomorrow.

Cabin Fever.....

It was supposed to be really cold this morning, and the tide was early and we haven’t been out so, bundle up for beach walking! It was 18F wind chill 3 below 0, according to the weather . I paused a bit because I look out at a thermometer we have outside which doesn’t give the exact temp but I can usually fudge it with all that info. The sun was out though and I overdressed a little. Walking back into the wind we had to mask the face and so on.
But that was small potatoes for us. If the sun is out, even this time of year, it generates a lot of heat if you keep walking.

-9 F (-23 C) today and tonight..... more bloody snow to shovel.

We've had about 20 flakes of snow, not even enough to wet the ground. Its very cold though and I can hear the wind trying to relocate stuff in my garden.
