Thank you, Sunshine71! I don't know if I can cope sometimes, either. At the rate things are going, he may just hit rock bottom and I won't have to worry. Oh about the timing; here's an example discussion.

He: "I feel bad for accepting this coffee mug from the delivery driver."
Me: "Why's that?"
He: "Well we used his competitor for a large shipment. Gotta save money y'know."
Me: "That's OK the cup is a form of advertisement. I'm sure he purchased them in bulk to give out."
He: "Yeah but he only gave one to me & Bill. Probably b/c he knows we work hard."
Me: "Maybe, I wouldn't worry about it; that's business."
He: "But it was a large shipment."
Me: "Just enjoy the cup."
He: "What cup?"
