General Gp Told Hubby To Get A Dog.

I have a morky..half maltese..half yorkie. She is my best friend and a reason..if I nightmare, I generally wake up with her sitting on my head and licking my face to wake me up. That is her picture on my profile. The best decision I made and it helped me with my PTSD.

When my son came back from Iraq, the first thing my daughter-in-law did was get them a dog. It's a lab/beagle/something else mix and he is just amazing. He can get a little hyper sometimes around other people, but if my son is in the room Peanut is as calm and protective as can be. It might just help if you can get your Hubby to just see some dogs, with no intention on getting any. Say it's something like, "just so we can get a feel for what kind of breed or size you want." He might just find relaxation with seeing and playing with some of the pooches, and who knows, maybe he'll fall in love with one and take it home.

Thanks Pandora and Bella

He know which kind of dog he is going to get, but he has put his foot down and said out right, "Not until sooty goes". She is our cat and has been amazing both with sitting close to him when he is in a mess, and letting me know to go up to him, if he is in bed and in a bad way.

The latest episode was last week and she was amazing how she confirmed to me, that I had to go up stairs and fast.
