Antidepressants for flashbacks? My last post wasn't the right place to put it. Back in 08 I had a pure o OCD theme that I was going to lose control and hurt a child. Out of desperation to feel better I smoked a bowl of weed. This just made me think I was at Gods judgment.

I thought the theme changed from children to God judgment, so I was put on Zoloft to aid the obsessive thoughts. I noticed that the only thing that helped was a AD and a benzo. So while I was being treated for OCD, do you think it could of just been flashbacks from my psychosis I had in 05 where I thought it was the end times and that I was dead?

I don't suffer from OCD anymore because I'm on a SSRI and it helps by far better than any other SSRI. To think one is in another place really when that place seems so familiar like I did back in 2005 seems more like a flashback. I do however have nightmares of being dead or standing before God.

So honestly I don't know what is going on. I thought I had it figured out but I guess not.

Nope, not for me.

Combine HIGH doses of gabapentin and klonopin and I am sure it could be possible to cause hallucinations that seem like flashbacks

As it was explained on your previous posts, you can't get PTSD from a bad trip. It's actually a specifically excluded event. So you can't have PTSD flashbacks to a bad trip.

However, drug abuse and addiction can lead to many mental health symptoms including all the ones you describe here. Any underlying PTSD symptoms will also get worse with drug abuse and untreated addiction.

You need to be honest with your doctor and therapist and commit to treatment for your addiction. Once you finally get that treated, then the doctors and therapists at rehab will be able to best address whatever symptoms are left and help you get relief from it.

Until you address the addiction and get comprehensive help for it, which you continue to avoid doing, these and many other symptoms are likely to continue and get worse.
