Not too good. I am still learning about sleep apnea and nightmares... It seems that PTSD is not the only disorder that can cause chronic recurrent nightmares. Sleep apnea and restless leg syndrome can also cause chronic nightmares. I struggle with both PTSD and sleep apnea and I wonder how I can tell if it is sleep apnea or PTSD causing my nightmares...content perhaps?
At any rate, I take Minipress for nightmares and it seems to help a good deal of the time, but I still have bizarre and disturbing dreams at times. Just last night I dreamed of a spirit taunting me with its ability to create paranormal phenomenon. I tend to dream about spirit entities a lot. I try to replicate the manipulation of spirit energies in my dreams and panic, (in my sleep) when it fails.
I awake exhausted. I am really tired tonight and need to take my behind to bed soon. I also struggle with fibromyalgia which causes me pain in my hip when I sleep. I can adjust my position but it wakes me up and I awake too many times as it is. I hope I can sleep without any nightmares tonight.
