How Did You Sleep Last Night?

This is a wonderful thread, thank you!
(Does anyone hear the title like the my pillow commercial)
(Just me? xD)

Last night I didn't sleep well at all. I started a new medication somewhat recently to help my night terrors. They're not gone but they have reduced to the worser end of night mares, but thats a plus I guess :) The only problem is that I don't rest. I might not wake up all night but I just ;ash around in bed all night. My dad asks me every morning if I even slept at all. I move around ALLLL night. And I have to sleep through the dream. But I'm not lying awake trembling anymore. I think I'll talk to my psychiatrist again soon.

Woke up sore and headachy. Again. Been like this for a couple weeks now. I didn't notice that I woke up particularly often or anything. Was in bed a good 8.5-9 hours. And still.... Sp yeah, I'm still sleeping enough/a lot, but still not getting good quality sleep. Been feeling extremely tired (more than usual) for the past couple weeks.

Not too good. I am still learning about sleep apnea and nightmares... It seems that PTSD is not the only disorder that can cause chronic recurrent nightmares. Sleep apnea and restless leg syndrome can also cause chronic nightmares. I struggle with both PTSD and sleep apnea and I wonder how I can tell if it is sleep apnea or PTSD causing my nightmares...content perhaps?

At any rate, I take Minipress for nightmares and it seems to help a good deal of the time, but I still have bizarre and disturbing dreams at times. Just last night I dreamed of a spirit taunting me with its ability to create paranormal phenomenon. I tend to dream about spirit entities a lot. I try to replicate the manipulation of spirit energies in my dreams and panic, (in my sleep) when it fails.

I awake exhausted. I am really tired tonight and need to take my behind to bed soon. I also struggle with fibromyalgia which causes me pain in my hip when I sleep. I can adjust my position but it wakes me up and I awake too many times as it is. I hope I can sleep without any nightmares tonight.

I sometimes feel like I sleep but I'm not really sleeping as much as it seems, almost as if I was in a coma because I should be more rested from the amount of sleep I'm getting. I have been having more dreams recently and some nightmares. They're not great to deal with but it also tells me I must be getting some REM sleep which is good so I'll take it.

Last night I fell asleep without any problem. But I woke in the early hours - maybe 2 am, and lay awake for hours. I think I went back to sleep shortly before Rory woke me with a morning cuppa!
