Hmmm that's kinda of what I was thinking when the OP was describing his symptoms. I really think this dude needs to get to a GP for a referral to a shrink as they are the only medical professional who could diagnose him one way or the other a la Swift's advice. Diagnosing yourself especially online is a mugs game because there's so much misinformation out here in cyber space you're bound to get it wrong. Best of luck to the OP anyway B xx

The fun thing about mental illness is that there's so many to choose from! (Sarcasm).
Self-diagnosis is definitely a mugs game.
I find I have symptoms that could be from lots of different things - it's like mental health build-a-bear in my head.
Proper help is invaluable in treating the right thing in the right way at the right time.
Glad I could help, that's what I'm here for :)

You need an evaluation by a professional. It doesn't sound like HV. When I am HV I am jumpy and agitated and miserable because I can't tune out background noises or sights. Touch hurts and I just want to be left alone without any form of stimulation. I know what it sounds like to me, and has already been mentioned, but you really really need to see a phych professional. You don't have to do meds, but at least get a proper diagnosis.

Thanks again guys. Gonna teledoc a GP to see a pro. I’m in San Diego maybe anyone has some recommendations ?

Also, thoughts on “bipolar advantage?” anyone?
