I use the dishwasher to wash my spoons. Same spoon, just looks like a new one. Meaning, if something burdens you, you only have one brain, but some not useful thinking can dirty it up, so "wash it" by eliminating not useful thoughts and try a different approach and see how it works. Seeing or doing things differently can save you some spoons. Use chop sticks instead, you will have more spoons left. Knowing you can start over is always helpful. The dishwasher in this instance is what everybody else talked about, exercise, sleep, yoga, meditation, walk in nature. That is usually what people do to calm down, reset, and try again.
