Insane need to “excercise”; what is this??

@Friday Something tells me that you! are a bit of a hardcore badass ?.
I have started doing exercises with an elastic thingy every other day. I have plans to bike to the shop. I met with a friend this afternoon, who just said I should concentrate on fast walking whilst grounding too.
I have a problem with acceptance ? And humility ?. I want a personal soundproof people proof ptsd gym !
 
IMHO, recognizing something and then just going on with the motions does not work. If you are realizing this is a pattern of some sort, then I recommend two things:
Stay with the recognition and try to learn more about what your body is afraid of or running from or pushing you do something you do not want to do particularly.
Second, do not act out mindlessly - what is the point of learning something about yourself and not using it purposefully?
Talk about it in therapy and see if you two can come up what exactly started this in your past?

Do not just give it space without first acknowledging your power to understand and make sense or meaning of it so you can know more about you.

Just exercising is good so is food or sex but all things out of control are not good coping mechanism. Try to stay compassion and see what your body is telling you or communicating to you.

I never did this. I knew what was going on kinda in my body. I remember the first few times I was on the treadmill and I was sweating and crying and yelling along with the song in the headphones. I never made a direct connection I just used the release. Then the pain when I was jogging. I hate jogging it's SO painful!

I used to think it made me feel my body. IDK
 
It's a good way to cope, exercising.

Just don't overdo it. I did, as a teenager. Got addicted to the point that my body was falling apart. Still feeling the affects ten years later.
