My ptsd service dog is sick

They are pink with a fast capillary refill time. And they are slimy, showing she is still well hydrated. The vet showed me last week how to check and told me it's a sign of a serious problem if they are white or the time slows for them to turn white after pressing on them - so the capillary refill time is good.

and the kitty re-set her usual boundaries, and they were respected quite quickly.

This I found familuar; I own a pitbull whom is scared of a cat that bats at him but has no claws in the front! Is that just a dog/cat thing? Lol!

What can I carry forward:
- reaching out for support and knowing I'm not alone is super helpful.
- I can trust my vet.
- my dog needs a few doggie spa (aka daycare) days now and then. :)

I guess @Justmehere was the only one who you were asking and I should not have butted in.

I am not making excuses. The loss of my own dog, totally unexpected and my grief got the better of me I think.

Frankly I didn't even read it til just now... but to counter your reaction, read JMH's? Situations... well shit happens. What we take away though is at times a solid choice of the preference we give to the "remembering".
