I read this on Yahoo a few days back with my partner.

I didn't think the reactions were fair. So many ppl accusing her of lying etc. Saying if it were this common, everyone we know must have been sexually abused. It's not fair to judge and no one can accuse her of lying. Who in their right mind would make such claims?

I'm not particular fan of hers but sexual abuse is a lot more common than ppl give it credit for. If she can bring some healthy attention to it, that is great. If not, I hope she finds the personal help and support she needs, whether it's true or not, it is in someway a cry for help

Yer... she's famous, so action will be taken and police will do things they wouldn't for anyone else... all in the name of media coverage.

I cannot say this happened to her however, I will say her actions have spoken louder than her words. She wore provocative clothing, married a man who gave her Hepatitis C and loved the attention received from men. I cannot say if this part and parcel to what she went through however, I'm very skeptical in her words as her career is no longer there except for her work with PETA. The best thing she can do is seek help for these issues and just remember to raise her children.

Unless there was a witness, or one of the perpetrators decides to suddenly clean his conscience, then there really is no true evidence. I am not trying to be harsh, but this is the reality that MOST childhood sexual abuse survivors face. Anthony is right. This is being investigated because she is famous. All the power to her. (I don't jump to the conclusion that she is lying, as I do not think that would be fair. However, it would possibly explain why she is the way she is though.....sexually abused children becoming overly sexual as adults. That is SOME of them do, not ALL.)

I believe her. If she was doing it just to get her name back into the headlines, she would have gone into a well-known rehab facility, along with some additional publicity stunts.
