I have no idea where I'm supposed to post this but the most suffering seems to happen in relationships with our PTSD folks that I decided to post it here.
It's still early is most of the US and many of you will get up and go about your day the way you usually do. For some of you that includes coming here to check the boards. I just wanted to encourage you, no matter when you see this post, to give yourself permission to have a happy day. If that means disconnecting your phone or taking a walk or having lunch with a friend or meditating/engaging in prayer to solidify your attitude for the day...DO IT!
We spend so much time caring for others that sometimes we neglect ourselves. It doesn't have to cost a lot (or any) money to enjoy your day. You can treat yourself if you want, but things like catching up with an old friend, listening to your favorite artist or song or just simply enjoying the sunshine are free things that you can do to uplift your spirits.
It's not easy walking this road. So every now and again, just commit to having a happy day!
Enjoy your Tuesday ladies (and gents). You deserve it!
