I'm in the Eugene area - so it would be a little more difficult for me - but I imagine there are a lot more people here in the Portland area than near me. Might be worth the drive if I could get up there :)

I'm in Olympia. I was a long haul truck driver in a previous life, so Portland, Salem, Eugene are just a short hop for me. Would be nice to meet some folks outside the Veterans system.

So what's next? Anyone want to suggest a time and place to meet? Or is everybody like me and think, "Nobody wants to get to know me, and if they do, they should know better."

I'm game. The only problem I have is that I don't drive. I lost my license years ago. I really need to meet people who ,are not poisonous because everybody I know I met in self destruction mode. I tend to gravitate towards unhealthy but I'm trying very hard to change old behaviors.

Hi Guys - can I suggest if you are arranging a meet you do so by PC. You can have private conversations between multiple members. But for your own safety (since this is a public forum, available to public and search engines), that you do not discuss dates and meeting places in this thread.
