There have been quite a few major traumas this spin of the karmic wheel and I managed to roll with most of them until a few years back. I wasn't doing great, but I was functional. This last one pushed me past a line though, and damn is it hard to pretend to be normal. Therapy never really helped, nor did meds. Not that I mean to question their value to those who do find therapy and/or meds help, just it never did much for me. Meditation is a good thing. MM helps a lot. Softens the flashbacks, takes the sharp edges off the panic attacks. FWIW, that's "hello."
