I don't get acid reflux, but I do have a LOT of trouble breathing when I get anxious (which I sometimes don't realize until after, but I'm getting better). That said, if you haven't discussed it with your family doctor, I would recommend that. Learning to cope with the anxiety (or whatever) is great, but won't solve anything if it's a true medical issue.
