- this song makes me want to cry every time I hear it. Most of my worst memories happened as a child at night in my bedroom, and I ache to be able to go back and protect me, but I can't. I wish I felt safe in my home even now, and I don't. And it all makes me feel shame and ugly. I would love a place that felt safe and warm... I don't know where that place is.
