Oh wow, holy crap Batman. I don't know what I expected but not this story. @anthony I think you may like this one.

I'm onto chapter 5. What/is Melanie and the other children? I'm thinking she and the others are 'hungries'. Why do they eat bugs? Why when the smell of sargents flesh is exposed do the children want to bite?

Certainly not my usual read but I am hooked.

Same here when I listened to it. I plan on listening to it again this month to remind myself of the story better, but yeah, it was one that got me hooked too.

I checked the country catalogue. In whole country only one book by Mike Carey. And it's not that one. A poor country do I live in

Hm, what kind of books are you into. I read (as in did read) most of the stuff in the library that seemed worthy, so maybe I can recommend.
